The Wheel of the Year is given a fresh spin in this inspiring ode to the Wiccan life. Month by month, Bronwynn Forrest Torgerson invigorates Pagan principles with rituals, songs, spells, and poetry. But the underlying thread of this whimsical Wiccan tapestry is Torgerson's own personal stories—funny, enthralling, and moving—that illuminate one Witch's way.

This rich collection offers spiritual lessons, belly laughs, and heartfelt wisdom to Witches everywhere. Mingling the practical and the personal, Torgerson explores journeys in January, love and transformation in February, communion in June, and the power of song in September. Between lyrical verses and original parables, you'll witness the author's joys, struggles, minor miracles, and thrilling encounters with the divine. From the mundane (magickally finding the perfect apartment) to the mystical (receiving guidance from the gods), Torgerson recounts the sacred forces that have shaped one Witch's life.

The Book!

Well Folks, it’s official!  You can pre-order my book through www.Llewellyn.com by clicking on ‘coming soon’ at the left hand side listings, or through www.amazon.com by keying in One Witch’s Way.

In any event, it has been an unforgettable journey from manuscript to finished product and many thanks are owed along the way.  Accolades go to Elaine Foxwell, who did the initial ‘deep clean’ on my verbiage and who offers her editing expertise to other aspiring authors in the Pagan community.  To Elysia, Brett and Marissa, my angels at Llewellyn.

Especially to Brett, who caught the typo my spellchecker didn’t:  “guests should bring drugs and rattles.”  Uhmmm!  Nope, I hasted to assure him, it really should be ‘drums and rattles’.  I explained that ‘drugs and rattles’ refers instead to the GroovyMan tradition of Wicca, begun in the 1960’s and purported to still being going on even today in remote countrysides around the world.

Other Projects include working with my daughter-in-law Kristin Sorknes on an illustrated magickal illustrated children’s book (Kristin is an amazing artist, a blazing

spirit, and she loves my son dearly – what more could any mom ask?), putting together music for the first repertoire of a pagan chorale, and getting ready for vacations this year.

Have Ticket, will Travel!

My Gypsy streak this year will see I & my friend Elaine attending Z Budapest’s ‘Gathering the Goddesses’ Festival in California in September.  I went to Goddess 2000 a few years ago and had a marvelous time.  Memories of that event include watching Z pour Brandy into the spirit fire during a Peace ritual and sing to the spirits…singing the ‘Verandi’ song (middle aspect of the Fates) our group made up to the tune of the Mickey Mouse Club theme song…a Seidth working with Diana Paxon and many others.  I’m sure there will be a heartful of new memories to be made this year as well.

Dan & I are considering attending a Pagan Leadership conference in Richmond, VA at the end of July, and we will be touring Boston, Salem & New Hampshire in mid-October of 2008.
